ARTS PROGRAM FUNDING

Each academic year, the Fan Club must cover all expenses to fund the arts program. The monies covers one art specialist art supplies, anticipated set-up fees for the ARTWORKS! show. Exposure to and participation in the arts has been demonstrated to enhance students’ creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving abilities, as well as improving student performance in other core subject areas. 

Farragut’s strategic arts plan outlines future integration of music, theatre and dance into the curriculum, fully integrated into the State Standards.  The Fan Club funding enables Farragut to continue this “arts-for-all” mission by providing professional art instruction to your children by our art instructional aide.  Our goal is further enhanced by grants from various sources which will provide additional teacher instruction, learning materials and performances at Farragut.

Direct donations to the Farragut Fan Club are tax deductible. Donations are welcome at all times throughout the year.
